* Sunday, November 19, 2006; Jewish Folk Arts Festival, Rockville, MD:

Kol Haruach has been asked to perform at the Rockville Jewish Festival on Sunday, November 19, 2006, from 2:15 - 2:50 in the afternoon. The band will be performing Israeli, Klezmer and Swing. We will be featuring our vocalist, Juleen Stacey. For more information,

* Monday, December 18; Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts:

Kol Haruach has been asked to perform at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts on Monday, December 18th, 6:00 PM on the Millennium Stage. This event is free and open to the public. The band will feature Klezmer, Israeli and Jazz tunes from their new live CD release in addition to new music recently composed and arranged for the band. The following is a list of a few of the public engagements the band has performed in the past:

* On Friday, August 25, 2006; Kol Haruach gave a free concert in Washington, DC.

Sponsored in part by the DC Government, and in part by the DC Federation of Musicians, the band performed a free outdoor matinee concert at at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library, 901 G Street, NW, Washington, DC 20001.  The band featured a mix of Klezmer, Israeli, dance Swing and Jazz. * On Sunday, November 6, 2005 The band organized, sponsored, and played a concert to benefit the victims of Hurricanes Katrina & Rita, at Tikvat Israel Congregation in Rockville, Md. See photos from this concert.

* On Sunday, November 6, 2005; Kol Haruach was the featured performer in a double set at the Annapolis Jewish Festival, 1399 Forest Drive, Annapolis, MD 21403. This was an interesting concert. The band had been asked to play two different sets. The first set was centered around the group's unique style of Klezmer music. The second set featured their jazz.

"First was the Klezmer (but jazzier than you've ever heard before) group, the Kol Haruach Orchestra. The crowd went crazy, having a thoroughly wonderful time, many dancing the traditional Israeli folk dances."

* On Saturday, January 8, 2005; Kol Haruach performed live in concert at the Kennedy Center Millennium Stage. The Concert was a rousing success with people dancing in the aisles.
