Kol Haruach came to the assistance of Mishkan Torah Synagogue, the oldest synagogue in Prince Georges County. The band sponsored and performed a fund-raising concert this past Mother's Day, May 9. 100% of the proceeds went to badly needed renovations of the building.

I would like to thank the members of Kol Haruach Klezmer Band for the phenomenal concert at Mishkan Torah on May 9, 2004. The music selection was very exciting and renewed many happy memories of Klezmer music. The group's professional skills are incredible, each musician and the singer perform at the highest level. The introductions shared the humor and the love of the music you presented to us. I would give the highest recommendation to all who are considering engaging your group for a performance or special event. It is indeed One of The Most Enjoyable groups I have ever heard perform. Keep up the wonderful music!
